PLEASE NOTE:

1. THE APPLICATION FEE IS $18 FOR MEMBERS OF THE UNITED RED RIVER CHEROKEE NATION. THE APPLICATION FEE IS $24 FOR NON-MEMBERS. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF FIRST NATION CHURCH TO OBTAIN A MARRIAGE LICENSE.

2. BOTH SPOUSE APPLICANTS MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE AS OF TODAY'S DATE.

3. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO STATE YOUR GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, OR RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION AS PART OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS.

4. YOUR MARRIAGE MUST BE SOLEMNIZED BY AN AUTHORIZED MINISTER OF FIRST NATION CHURCH. YOU MAY DESIGNATE A FRIEND, FAMILY MEMBER OR OTHER PERSON TO SERVE AS YOUR OFFICIANT. CEREMONIAL ORDINATION MAY BE OBTAINED ONLINE BY CLICKING HERE OR BY VISITING WWW.ACWO.NET.

5. PROXY MARRIAGES (MARRIAGE IN WHICH ONE SPOUSE IS UNABLE TO BE PRESENT AT THE CEREMONY) ARE ACCEPTABLE IN THE EVENT OF MILITARY SERVICE, INCARCERATION OR INABILITY TO TRAVEL.

TO OBTAIN A MARRIAGE LICENSE, PLEASE REVIEW THE INFORMATION BELOW: 1. Each of the Spouse Applicants entering into the Marriage are age eighteen years or older as of today's date; 2. Both parties to this Marriage License enter into it willfully and without coercion of any kind, and neither party is presently married to another person; 3. Neither party to this Marriage License shall be related to the other as parent and child, grandparent and grandchild, brother or sister, half-brother or half-sister, whole first cousins, uncle and niece, or aunt and nephew. This section applies to children and relatives born in or out of wedlock; 4. The parties to this Marriage License are not required to state their gender, and the Marriage License may not be denied due to the gender or sexual orientation of the applicants; 5. Upon receipt of the Marriage License, the marriage must be solemnized within thirty (30) calendar days. Solemnization must be performed by a licensed minister of First Nation Church, and witnessed by at least two adults; 6. The Marriage License shall be issued not sooner than three (3) days after this filing. The day on which the application is filed shall be counted as the first day, but two full days shall elapse after the day of filing before the Marriage License shall be issued; 7. Both parties to this Marriage Application understand that marriage is designed to be a loving and lifelong commitment between two people. The laws of First Nation Church affirm your right to enter into this marriage and, at the same time, to live within the marriage free from violence and abuse. Neither of you is the property of the other. Physical abuse, sexual abuse, battery and assault of a spouse or other family member, as well as other provisions of the criminal laws of your state of residence, are applicable to spouses and other family members and violations thereof are punishable by law; 8. This Marriage License is considered valid, legal and enforceable under the laws of First Nation Church; however, it may not be considered as such in all jurisdictions. This Marriage License does not entitle you to any specific rights or benefits in any jurisdiction beyond those permitted under the laws of First Nation Church; 9. You are obligated to pay a non-refundable application fee of $74.00 (USD) in order to register the Marriage License. Your registration becomes effective immediately upon acceptance of payment. The Marriage License does not expire. 10. LRS Fulfilment Services is our authorized online retailer, offering secure online shopping and accepting all major credit cards.
